Carol has twenty eight years of experience as a teacher, reading specialist, department coordinator and summer school administrator in South San Antonio I.S.D., San Antonio I.S.D., Cypress-Fairbanks I.S.D. in Houston and in Northside I.S.D. in San Antonio. Carol graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1972 and attended the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Madrid, receiving her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1977. She was awarded a Masters of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction and received her Reading Specialist certification from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1982.
Carol taught migrant students Cooper and Rhodes Middle Schools in S.A.I.S.D. In Houston, she taught reading and study skills at the middle school level and high school English and Spanish at the Alexander-Smith Academy. Her Last twenty-one years of teaching were spent in Northside I.S.D. at Hobby and Jordan Middle Schools where she served as a reading teacher, reading specialist, summer school administrator and the dyslexia and TELPAS testing coordinator.Contact Carol
